PRESSURE WASHING
We pressure clean all areas using an algicide and a gas powered, cold water pressure washer with a surface cleaning head to remove all dirt, mildew and weeds in order for the pavers to be prepared for sanding and sealing.
SANDING
We use fine, 4 grain, kiln dried silica sand and a process called “wet sanding”, to add the sand back into the joints of the pavers to maintain stabilization, integrity and form.
SEALING
Depending on the finish you desire (natural, wet or glossy) determines the product we use. We only use water based sealers, that allow the pavers to continue to breathe. We will first flood the joints and pavers with a heavy “flood coat” that ensures maximum penetration into all of the joints and pores of the pavers.
